The Story

2020: When Everything Changed

In March 2020, schools needed immediate help navigating the sudden shift to remote learning. Having led virtual programs serving over 8,000 students, I created the VBI (Virtual, Blended, In-Person) framework—a comprehensive approach to flexible education that addressed the real challenges schools were facing. The materials were shared freely with school leaders across the country.

2020-2025: Building Systems

Consulting took a back seat while I built: custom WordPress and LearnDash platforms, full course production — outlines, scripts, video, assessment — and six years of product management turning instructional design into working systems for businesses and private organizations.

2023-2025: The AI Revolution

I’d been working with generative AI since 2021, so when it flooded education I knew what the moment needed: not tool training, but thinking frameworks. I created MAP and EREE and a complete AI literacy curriculum — teaching students to think with AI, not just use it.

I founded VBI Education in 2020 to provide practical frameworks for flexible learning. My work spans innovative school models, technical systems development, and strategic AI education—always focused on real-world implementation over theoretical approaches.
